So here we talk about some underrated dramas of 2023



1- Nauroz


Nauroz is a Pakistani drama aired on green entertainment starring Mawra Hussain in the lead. The drama serial had a unique story written by Kashif Anwar and directed by Shahzad Kashmiri. The plot focuses on a girl (named Rashtina) from a small village and her journey to a big city. Drama serial nauroz touched many social issues in just 17 episodes. The soundtrack and BGM were also a melodious. Nauroz aired on every Thursday at 8pm and deserved all the trps and views, but unfortunately, it couldn't get as such response. 


2- Mere Ban Jao


Mere Ban jao drama aired on HUM TV in 2023. Starring kinza Hashmi , zahid ahmed and azfar rehman in leads. The drama serial talks about the bad impact of social media, including cyberbullying by the leakage of one's private photos and videos. Azfar rehman play the role of the antagonist. The serial had a total of 34 episodes written by Samira Fazal and directed by Ahmed Kamran and produced by Momal Entertainment. Mere ban jao aired on every Wednesday at 8pm. 


3- Jannat Se Aagay 


Although, Jannat se Aagay was not a flop serial, but we can't say it a big hit. Starring Kubra Khan, Ramsha Khan and gohar Rasheed in lead, this serial deserved all the praise and ratings. Written by the well-known writer Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hasan. The storyline explores a toxic trend within the media industry, touching on themes such as sensationalism and public humiliation for ratings. The first episode of the series was aired on Geo Entertainment on 11 August 2023. Jannat Se Agay was produced by Abdullah Qadwani and Asad Qureshi in the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. Geo TV aired it twice a week, every Friday and Saturday at 8pm.
