5. Osman Khalid Butt as Mahir in Dobara


The drama serial Dobara which was based on age-factor starred Bilal Abbas Khan as Mahir & Hadiqa Kiyani as Mehrunnisa.

The drama gained so much love especially the complicated chemistry between Bilal Abbas & Hadiqa Kiyani won the hearts of the audience. But it's an interesting thing the role of Mahir was first offered to Osman Khalid Butt the actor revealed it in an interview & further said that he liked the script very much but couldn't be able to do it due to the shooting schedules of Chupke Chupke.


4. Moshin Abbas Haider as Mir Haadi In Khaani

No one could believe but the role of Mir Haadi in the blockbuster drama serial Khaani was first offered to Mohsin Abbas Haider before Feroze Khan.

The singer & actor revealed this in a morning show & the clips of it are still available on YouTube.

The actor further said that the role was not in his destiny & later Feroze Khan created a legacy with that character.


3. Fawad Khan as Afzal in Pyaare Afzal

Pyaare Afzal is another cult classic drama starring Hamza Ali Abbasi as Afzal in the lead. The drama & his character gained iconic status among audience & still has a wide fan base but according to sources producer Humayun Saeed wanted to sign Fawad Khan as lead but at that time Fawad had offers from Bollywood, & he picked the feature film Khubsoorat over it & later the role was offered to Hamza Ali Abbasi & he made it iconic & memorable.


2. Faysal Qureshi as Ashar in Humsafar

You guys will be shocked to know that the role of Aashar for drama serial Humsafar was initially offered to Faysal Qureshi but he rejected it saying he didn't like the script and he revealed this in a show.

Later the role was picked by Fawad Khan & the rest is history.

The drama serial Mere Pass Tum Ho is widely known as one of the best dramas made in the history of Pakistan. The emotional core of the play & the character of Humayun Saeed as Danish made everyone cry. But it's another shocking thing that the role of Danish was first offered to Feroze Khan but due to date issues he couldn't do it. Writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar himself revealed it in a show.
