5. Neeyat (2011)
Neeyat was aired on ARY Digital starring Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan(her debut serial), Ahsan Khan & Deepti Gupta in the lead directed by Mehreen Jabbar & written by Larry Pontius. The drama was one of the very first Humayun Saeed's production dramas made on a very big budget.
The drama was set in New York with lots of promise.
Soon after its premiere the drama got rejected by the audience due to its average story & slow screenplay & became a HUGE flop.
4. Noor ul Ain(2017)
This one also aired on ARY Digital starring Imran Abbas, Sajal Aly, Marina Khan & many good names in the cast.
Directed by Sarmad Khoosat written by Edison Idrees Masih.
The drama made headlines right after its announcement & the hype was there due to its promising cast & high production value.
Soon it's all hype turned into disappointment after its premiere.
Despite having A-class stars in the play from actors to director the drama looks so ordinary with a very typical story & audience criticize it a lot especially the dull chemistry of Imran Abbas & Sajal Aly.
3. Ashk (2012)
Drama serial Ashk was a MEGA drama of Geo Entertainment produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and aired in 2012.
The drama stars Fawad Khan, Neelam Muneer, Mehreen Raheel & Resham in the lead cast.
The drama opened with so much hype & it was special because it aired right after the end of Fawad Khan's blockbuster drama Humsafar.
So the huge expectations & hype were there but soon it became a disappointment due to its outdated story & flawed direction.
The drama got rejected by the audience & became a BIG Flop on the rating chart.
2. Aangan (2018)
The period drama was aired on HUMTV with so much hype & expectations.
It's star Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Mawra Hocane, Omair Rana, Ahsan Khan, Hira Mani & many good names in the cast.
Directed by Ehteshamuddin & based on Khadija Mastoor's famous novel of the same name.
It's termed one of the most expensive dramas in the history of Pakistan highlighting the shades of the before & after life of Partition.
The drama opened with a positive response from the audience.
But soon audience lost the interest in the play due to its slow screenplay & slow progress of the story.
The drama only gained a targeted audience & failed to meet the expectations & became one of the biggest bomb on the rating chart.
1. Mor Mahal (2016)
This was the first Pakistani drama based on historical events.
It stars Umair Jaswal, Meesha Shafi, Fiza Ali, Hina Khawaja Bayat, Kinza Hashmi & many good names in the cast.
Directed by Sarmad Khoosat & written by Sarmad Sehbai.
The drama was termed the most expensive drama in the history of Pakistan after Bashar Momin.
It was based on the Mughul emperor era with a fictional theme. The makers put a high budget on actors' costume designs & drama set to make it superior to history.
The drama aired with lots of hype & promise but it became a HUGE disaster with most criticism to its poor storyline & lack of originality to history.
The drama turned into a disappointment & became the biggest bomb on the rating chart.
