Underrated Dramas (part 2)

In the previous part we talked about three underrated dramas of 2023 (Nauroz, Mere Ban Jao, Jannat Se Aagay) in this part we'll be discussing more underrated dramas of 2023!! 



Jhok Sarkar 

Jhok Sarkar aired on HUM TV every Tuesday at 8pm. Starring Farhan Saeed and Hiba Bukhari in the leads. The story revolves around the struggle of a police officer against the deep-rooted social evils in a town, Jhok Siyal. The series was produced by Momina Duraid, directed by Saife Hassan and written by Hashim Nadeem. According to the writer, the series is a tribute to the unsung heroes of the police service. Jhok Sarkar deserved more trps and views. 


Hadsa

Hadsa was a Soap Serial produced by wajahat rauf and shazia wajahat, written by Zanjabil Asim Shah and directed by wajahat rauf. Hadsa aired daily at 7pm. Starring Hadiqa Kiani, Alyy Khan, Romaisa Khan and Khaqan Shahnawaz as leads. It first premiered on 21 August 2023 and concluded on 5 October 2023 on Geo Entertainment. The series based on the social issues faced by Women's in Pakistan. It got banned after some controversy. But, later, it was on air again on geo entertainment. The drama deserves more views and trps. 


Chand Tara 

Chand Tara was a Ramzan Special play on HUM TV. starring Aiza Khan and Danish taimoor in leads. It was written by Saima Akram Chaudhry and directed by Danish nawaz. The series failed to achieve the level of popularity compared to Chaudhry's previous Ramadan scripts. Before its launch, it was assumed as a Block buster drama of 2023. But, after some episodes, its rating and views both were down. It had also a big supporting cast including rehan shaikh, Gazal Siddiqui, madiha ifthikar, behroz sabwari, adnan Jafar and many others. chand Tara aired daily in Ramzan at 9pm.
